He felt good about improving in drill, yet indicated disappointment they did not commit fewer mistakes. I call that ownership! He sounded confident and indicated he would keep pushing. Love that spirit! Today is going to be a gooooood day!

Now he wants us to come see him on family day since he is still in MRP. Problem is that my DH already cancelled his vacation. Now I don't know what to do. I'll keep you informed since I might still be able to meet some of you.

Many people couldn't attend because of late flights, but on the other hand, having the Meet & Greet on Thursday after the Family Day might be hard too, because everyone is exhausted. Having the Meet & Greet on Wednesday, gave us time to meet other families and make friendships before Family Day and made if much easier to put faces to the names and meet the marines that go with the names. At Family Day, once you get your Marine, you hang on to them and pretty much stay together. Wear Sunscreen and comfortable shoes for Family Day. You'll need them.

The mts. are beautiful and it has rained every day since I got here. [:0] Which is welcome respite from the 110+ days in Phx. Of course I leave and Stephen gets 3 letters! And he won't read them to me over the phone. ggggrrrrrr!!MIchael has stated that now he wants me to come out for family day in 2 weeks. Stephen already canceled his vacation so he can't go. Are any of you going to Hotel's family day? It would be fun to be together but a bummer to see all of the other guys graduation. What are the thoughts of the group?
