ADrifter, what co. is your son/husband/boyfriend in? Barb, I hope you took out the insurance on that package. It sounds like you must have if you are filling out paperwork. Have they been able to track the package for you? Well, I hope it shows up or atleast you are able to get your money back for it.

I have a fenced in back yard and they are allowed to run free in it. The only thing I have to do is make sure I mow my own yard inside the fence. Other than that, they aren't really that strict about dogs. You are only allowed 2 though and they have to be microchipped. We lived in an apt when we first moved here cuz my husband wanted to get away from work, but the first time he got deployed we decided to move on base to save money. Living out in town was expensive plus we had to pay extra for a dog. It was crzy. We never had extra money to spend. I have lived on base now for 1.5 years and I love it. My neighbors are pretty cool and I feel very safe. The only thing I pay for is my cell phone, TV/internet, and my cars. We have air/heat, water, trash pu, gym, play yard, dog park, theatre, little comissary on here within walking distance. It really is cool. Good luck....1 usmc wife, Fox Co, 0311

I don't think you can make a wrong move because you need to make the move that's going to be best for you. Kimg was right when you have to be your own best friend first. You two are used to each other and are comofortable with each other and thus afraid to move apart so making these decisions is going to be hard. I found this great quote and it goes, "growth demands a temporary surrender of security." I think this is so true. I've seen it my life a lot recently and I keep thinking, and trying to believe that this is the best path for me. I'm young, I'll move on and do great things and meet great people! I just have to put myself out there and maybe that is the thing for you too (and for you and Jesse), change and something new. I hope it all works out. keep it strong!I'm going on a blind date on Monday. I hope it goes well and if it doesn't, then maybe it'll be more of meeting a new friend then a new boyfriend. so we'll see.

I think that it would be great if we could get one going. I have also heard from my son, it sounds as if they are doing a lot of flying. Are any of your sons west of TQ right now? I have not gotten the request for protein, but my call to duty was coffee for the ready room and cigars! Will post if we get a chat room. thanks, ellen
