31st MEU Marines and Australian Soldiers conduct boat raid for Talisman Sabre 2015

U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and members of the 2nd Royal Australian Regiment assault a beach using Combat Rubber Reconnaissance Crafts during an amphibious assault exercise as part of Talisman Sabre 15. Talisman Sabre provides an invaluable opportunity to conduct operations in a combined, joint, and interagency environment that will increase the U.S and Australia’s ability to plan and execute contingency responses, from combat missions to humanitarian efforts.
