Fallen Marines sought dangerous job

Bomb disposal techs were from close-knit community stunned by stateside loss

The four Marines killed Wednesday while clearing unexploded ordnance from a training range at Camp Pendleton had volunteered for one of the most dangerous jobs in the military. Every bomb disposal technician does.
