Family, friends welcome 'hero' home from Afghanistan

Glenn Dayton Jr. said Afghanistan helped put life in perspective.

Family members and friends of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Glenn Dayton Jr. welcomed their hero home last weekend from a tour of combat duty in Afghanistan, and some expressed hope that the public and politicians alike would better appreciate soldiers' sacrifices.
