Twentynine Palms Marine killed in Afghanistan

Cpl. Paul W. Zanowick II served with 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment

A Twentynine Palms Marine was killed in action in Afghanistan, the Corps announced. Cpl. Paul W. Zanowick II, 23, of Miamisburg, Ohio, died June 3 in Helmand province, a stronghold of the Taliban insurgency.
